Beautiful Preview

Admaker turned director V K Prakash has been always acknowledged as a good technician, but has been letdown by the poor scripts that he has selected for his previous films. Apart from his debut film 'Punaradhivasam', none of his films which had been on theatres could boast of exceptional screenplays, though some had good one-lines and threads. V K P is making better of this handicap by joining with better screen writers for his new films. He is already ready with 'Karmayogi' - a take on Shakespeare's Hamlet, written by Balram Mattannur. V K P's latest flick on production is a commercial flick named 'Beautiful', based on an interesting thread by Anoop Menon. The director feels that he is on a new track with much different films from his earlier ones, right now in his kitty.
                                            
'Beautiful' featuring Jayasurya, Anoop Menon, and Meghna Raj in the lead, is a story about friendship and love, and tells how one guy turns his life around for the other and vice versa.
      
The movie has Jayasuirya as Stephen Louis, a paraplegic, but the sole inheritor of a 200 crores of assets. Though left in bed, he is full of life and always likes to see and hear beautiful things. A man who loves Cars, watches and music, he likes to admit that he is happy with his flush lifestyle. Stephen doesn't believes in saving much of his wealth for any surprises tomorrow and likes to spend for what all fortunes that he can have today.
                                                      
Into the life of this man who believes in celebration arrives John, a 34-year-old musician who is just opposite in nature. Always worried about his future, John is but exceptional with his music and guitar. Though poles apart in their attitudes, both starts to enjoy a good friendship and finds ways to satisfy each other. But with the arrival of a beautiful home nurse named Anjali, the attitudes of both towards life and care for each other is going to change. Anoop Menon's scripts of 'Beautiful' follows this changes of dynamics in relationships in humans.
                                                         
While Anoop Menon is guitarist john, Meghna Raj, who made her debut in Malayalam in Vinayan's 'Yakshiyum Njanum', is Anjali .Also in the cast are Jayan, Thesni Khan, Kishore Nandha, K B Venu,and  Dileep Niar. The lyrics of the songs for the movie are also by Anoop Menon, while Ratheesh vega is the music director. Jomon T John is the cinematographer while Mahesh is the editor.

'Beautiful' which was shot in around Moonar and Kochy is produced by Anand Kumar under the banner of Yes Cinema Company . The movie which is expected to be a much different attempt from V K P will grace the theatres as an early November release.
