 Madhavan Kutty always had wild dreams of him becoming a police officer. When an opportunity came to him, he didn't look back, sold everything he inherited, paid fifteen lakhs as bribe and joined the force as an inspector.
But what made him the most talked about inspector in the post was that he managed to collect back as bribery what he spent for obtaining his job within four months of his posting. Such was his character - A man who grabs anything that interests him, at any cost--that is why he was called Garud, Inspector Garud.
The film features Dileep and Kavya Madhavan. Directed by Johny Antony who has created hits with Dileep like C.I.D.Moosa and Kochi Rajavu. The film tells the lighter story of a corrupt inspector who turns to good ways due to a plenty of social reasons.
Once Madhavan Kutty, promoted as C I, ill behaves with Sethu Lakshmi, not knowing that she is the subcollector. She take up the issue to the women's commission and the C I has to seek mercy in public.
Madhavan Kutty decides to teach her a lesson and what we see later is Sethu Lakshmi becoming the wife of the C.I. whom she dispraises earlier.
But life has its ways and Madhavan Kutty is not going to win in every battle. What was in the store for the C I was something terrible that is going to change his life for ever.
Dileep donning the role of Madhavan Kutty is in his regular self in a varied makeup all through the film. The film will have every attraction to offer for a Dileep fan. Lalu Alex, Aishwarya, Salimkumar, Saadiq, Anand, Vijayaraghavan, Shammy Thilakan, Harishree Ashokan and Kalabhavan Shajon appear in other important roles in the film.
Scripted by Sibi K Thomas, Uday Krishna, the film is cinematographed by P Sukumar. Produced by Milan Jaleel in the banner of Galaxy films, the film is all set to reach the release stations by the 26th of January.
