 Pramod and Pappan are directors who are known to be the Mammootty specialists. After Vajram and Taskaraveeran which has done moderate business in the box office, the director duo is trying their luck, this time with Kalabhavan Mani and Rahman in the lead.
Abraham & Lincoln is the third directorial venture of brothers Pramod and Pappan.The film is a techno movie by the known advertising wizards of Malluwood industry.
The story line of the film is about gold mafia that has gripped Kerala. Johnson was a speedstar who thrilled the Kerala highways with his fast motoring habits. An engineering student in Bangalore, he was also working as a carrier for Sonar Kella, a chain of jewellery stores.
One day Johnson gets killed. Johnson's brother Abraham Dominique, an army man, who could not bear the loss of his brother, takes leave to investigate on the mysterious circumstances of his brothers’ loss. He soon gets to know the facts behind the brutal killing and realizes that Rawthar and company, who are direct competitors of Sonar Kella and the reigning lords of gold mafia is behind his brothers death. He also knows that the gold mafia has immense influence over the ruling party and the opposition, and no cooperation can be expected from those quarters. Abraham decides to join Sonar Kella and to fight the gold mafia from inside.
In the meantime, the government appoints a young police officer Lincoln to combat the goonda menace in the city But Lincoln also is on the lookout for people who destroyed his sister's life. On his run through the goonda circles of the city, he came to know that Sonar Kella was behind her sister's problems. Lincoln thus has to combat Abraham, the henchman of Sonar Kella.
The two meet for a deadly game of war. What follows leads to the rest of the thrilling story.
The film which is to be an out and out action thriller is shot in HD format by camera man Pramod and Murali Raman, with breathtaking visuals of motor races and fights.
The film has Kalabhavan Mani and Rahman teaming up for the first time, with Mani doing the role of Abraham, and Rahman doing that of Lincoln. Neha Pendans and Shweta Menon do the female leads. Rajan P Dev, Jagathy, Salimkumar, T.G.Ravi, Kiranraj, Anoop Menon and Ambika Mohan are in the other important cast list.
Scripted by Dennis Joseph, the film has music by Ouseppachan.The five songs in the film are penned by Balachandran Chullikkad. The film produced by Fab Associates is distributed by Celebrate release.
