 ‘Jubilee' is another movie which will act as the launch pad for a number of talented technicians in Mollywood. The movie which will have Saiju Kurup and Innocent in the lead will present a debut director, art director, music director, a new banner and new producers to the Malayalam cinema. The director of the movie G George has been in the industry for long assisting all the important names of Mollywood.
The film follows a different story of an aged father and his love towards his youngest son. Thomas Kora aged eighty, is the head of a famous family of the middle travancore region .Residing in the estate bungalow at Perramade, he never looks more than sixty. Once the favorite henchman of Henry Sayip, Kora was presented this bungalow and estate when Henry went back to England. Thereafter people started calling him, Kora Sahib.
A Man of perspicacious principles and punctuality, Kora have five sons and two daughters. His youngest son Joji, was born on the fifty sixth birth day of Kora. Since Joby was born after the golden jubilee year of Kora, he was popularly called by the neighbors as Jubilee. An automobile engineer by profession, he was also a specialist in motor cycle races, but an immature adult who can't keep serious relationships, taking life as it comes. Moreover, he was already on his way to some kind of trouble, all the time.
 Kora had a special liking to his youngest son, who at a point of time falls into clearly planned allegation of a murder. As police roams around tracing Joji, Kora has nothing else to do but to offer him all protection and to save him from the associated scandal. The film follows the complex relationship between the overbearing old father and youngest son. This is a gritty movie with great questions about family ties and what to do with your life when you have no real options.
‘Jubilee' is scripted by Shatrughnan, based on a story by the director G George. Saiju Kurup appears as Joji while Manasa is in female lead of the film. Innocent handles another tough role of the Kora Saheb. Also in the cast are Vijayaraghavan, Manoj K Jayan, Saikumar, Jagathy, Salimkumar, Sadiq, Jafar Idukky, Bindhu Panikkar, Bijukuttan and K P A C Lalitha.
‘Jubilee’, cinematographed by M J Radhakrishanan, is edited out by Vijayakumar. Sujith Raghvan debuts as the art director, through the film.
The music department of the movie is handled by debutante Shyam Dharman who hit quite a big time through his super hit albums. The film will have three songs written by Kaithapram.
Produced in the banner of unity pictures by Alex Chacko and Anto Mathew, the movie will hit the screens on March.
