Yugapurushan 'Thalaivasal' Vijay

He is one of the best character artistes in Tamil industry. ‘Thalaivasal’ Vijay after debuting in Tamil settled for doing character roles. But recently Vijay took Kerala by storm with his brilliant performance in the central role of Narayanaguru in the film ‘Yugapurushan’. The film immediately got rave reviews. Critics and the masses were convinced with the meticulous depiction of guru by Vijay.

In this interview Vijay takes you through his journey from ‘Thalaivasal’ to ‘Yugapurushan’. He says he never wanted to be hero and asks you to check his honesty with Nasser. He admires M R Radha more than anybody in films and feels commercial cinema don’t have much to offer to serious actors. Vijay also lives again his experience of being Narayanaguru on celluloid. A talented actor is honest in his views.
