Last homage to Dr. Sivanthi Adithan

Media baron Sivanthi Adithan was an educationist, industrialist and philanthropist. Popularly called Chinna Ayya, Sivanthi Adithan met his sad demise on 19th April. He was born in 1936, and started the first evening Tamil daily in Tirunelveli in 1959. He ran the successful Tamil dailies 'Dina Thanthi' and 'Maalaimalar'. Scores of media people and K-town biggies are thronging his residence in Poes Garden to offer their respect. Actors Rajinikanth, Sarathkumar, Ajith and Shalini were among the many who paid their last respect to the departed soul. We at Indiaglitz extend our heartfelt condolences, over the sad demise of the media stalwart.
