Releasing this Friday (13th Dec), 'Ivan Vere Mathiri' (IVM) is running high on expectations given the fact is by the man who gave us earlier impressive films like 'Kumki' and  'Engaeyum Eppothum' - M.Sarvanan. Feeling quite confident about his latest venture, the filmmaker keeps his fingers crossed; hoping that audience likes the film.

In order to keep up the suspense quotient of this action-thriller, Sarvanan doesn't divulge much about the film's story - instead he maintains that IVM has all the commercial elements - especially says that hero Vikram Prabhu is someone who has to be watch out for. After being applauded for his acting earlier in 'Kumki', Vikram Prabhu went for an image makeover following director's instruction. In fact, Sarvanan thought him to be an ideal action hero going by his physique and height and so signed him for the film. In the film, his action speaks more and will create a great impact.

Incidentally, Arya was the first choice for IVM, however he didn't take the movie citing that he didn't like the script.

Talking about casting, director pointed out that Ganesh Venkataraman is yet another actor whose character as police officer will stand out in film. Interestingly, while most of the action film confines female lead to romantic angle alone, IVM has Surabhi not only providing relief in this intense drama but also has an pivotal role in the course of the story. Coming to the most important character in the film, as that of villain, the director is of opinion that there will be no better villain as Vamsi in any of the films released this year.

As a matter of fact, the story of IVM is said to be based on five important characters.

On final note, Sarvanan hopes that he has made a good film and believes that IVM will be well-received by audience and will be enjoyed just like how they did with 'Engaeyum Eppothum'.  However, he clarified that IVM is far too different from 'Engaeyum Eppothum'. For, IVM is far more dramatic and situations are cinematic as well as bit exaggerated.
