Raja sir to address Malaysian fans through Video conferencing

IndiaGlitz [Saturday, December 28, 2013]

Malaysian fans have to bear with the sense of huge disappointment. Raja sir will not be participating in the King of Kings concert that will happen in Malaysia today and tomorrow (28th and 29th December 2013).

The concert will be graced by a host of Musical celebrities that includes veteran play-back singer S.P.Balasubramaniam, singers Chithra and Haricharan. The concert will have the music composers Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthick Raja the sons of Ilayaraja leading the proceedings.

Maestro Ilayaraja was supposed to lead the concert and all the arrangement were made for that. While the septuagenarian was composing for the above mentioned concert in Prasad Labs in Chennai, a few days back he suddenly suffered a Heart attack and got admitted to Apollo Hospitals.

Though the musical genius was pronounced out of danger within a few hours he has been advised complete rest and he is yet to be discharged from the hospital.

The living legend was eager to conduct the concert as planned thereby not disappointing the fans as well as the organizers, but  doctors have strictly advised him not to take up flight journey at least for a few more weeks, forcing him to abort his plans.

However in a bid to provide solace to the dejected fans, the senior Raja has expressed his willingness to address the Malaysian fans from Chennai, through Video conferencing. Acceding to his wish the organizers have erected a mega screen in the Mertica Stadiyum where the concert is going to take place, to telecast the speech of the Music wizard.
