Tapsee, started her film career in 2010 in a film titled Jhummandi Nadam and her Tamil debut was in Vetrimaran directed Dhanush starrer Aadukalam, whch was a super hit and went on to grab National awards. A few more offers she bagged in Tamil failed to make any impact to boost her career, and she struggling for the status of a established heroine in Tamil industry. Her career in Tollywood and upward trend and her Bollywood debut film Chasme Baddoor brought accolades to her.
Last year, she played a short and cute role as Arya's love interest in Ajith starrer Vishnuvardhan film Arrambam. However the success of the film has failed to provide her, the much needed break in the K-town, and the girl from Delhi is still scouting for good offers in Tamil. In the meanwhile she has been approached for a guest role by Aishwarya Dhanush, the wife of her Aadukalam Co-Star.
It is well known that Aishwarya who debuted as a director with the film 3, is directing her second film Vai Raja Vai with Guatham Karthik and Priya Anand playing the lead roles. It is for this film, that Tapsee has been offered a cameo role. Sources say that Aishwarya wants Tapsee to do the cameo since she beliefs that the latter will bring luck to her film. The Super Star's elder daughter has reportedly told Tapsee that despite being a cameo, the role offered to her will be an important one in the script and requires only two days call sheet.
Tapsee is said to have obliged to Aishwarya 's request and accepted the offer.
