'Aaha Kalyanam' shooting completed

Aaha Kalyanam the Tamil remake of Bollywood super hit film Band Baaja Baaraat has successfully grabbed enough public attention thanks to smart marketing techniques adopted by the team. Especially the film with which renouned Bollywood Production house Yaash Raaj films is marking its foot prints in Kollywood has attracted the youth populace who form the major chunk of the theatrical audience.

The final day shoot of this film took place recently in a posh bungalow in Chennai. The shoot was completed with a few path up shots that were shot with Nani of Naan Eee fame and Vani the young guns pairing up to play the lead roles in this film. 
  
Nani's maiden Tamil film was Veppam, that released earlier bombed at the box office. However he left a lasting impression in the minds of Tamil audience with the cute cameo he played in 2012 super hit film Naan Eee. The young actor is keeping is fingers crossed, since the box office performance of Aaha Kalyanam will determine his fate in Kollywood.

Vaani Kapoor after making her debut in Bollywood with Shuddh Desi Romance, a role which fetched her the Filmfare award for Best debut actress, is making a foray in Tamil film with this film.

Nani was in all praises for his co-star."l t was absolute pleasure working with Vani, she is full of energy and very professional too. There were many days we shot in humid conditions with plenty of lights illuminated to enhance the 'Colorful' film. The strenuous dance movements in those hard conditions  would have made even the strongest out and dry, but Vani was as fresh she was in the first shot" this what he had to say about Vani. Speaking about Gokul Krishna, the director of this film, Nani said, "he  is one of my most adored directors to date, he knew what he wants and doesn't give up unless he gets it"

He concluded his interview by sharing his happiness to have worked with Yash Raj films, one of India's most famous Production houses. "I grew up watching the romance of Yash chopra ji and it is indeed a pride to work for that banner. In fact i had learnt a lot from Y R F in this film, be it the casting, planning or promotions."
