Last Sunday, an official press release sent on behalf of ace director P.Vasu asserted that the Chandramukhi director is going to work with former Miss World and bollywood siren Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, tentatively titled as Aishwaryavum Aayiram Kakkavum.
But yesterday there were news stating that the news from P.Vasu is false and the Aishwarya has denied committing herself to any such film. The official PR agency of Bachchan Bahu also clarified that the actress has been listening to many scripts everyday and the script narrated by P.Vasu may be one among them. However, the actress has not committed herself to act in any film as of now.
After such a reaction from the actress's representatives P.Vasu was contacted by media persons for his clarification. The veteran director in an interview to a popular Tamil daily has said that it is true that he has met Aishwarya, narrated the script and also got her acceptance to add in the lead role. The director added that, it will take at least eight months from now to start shooting for the film since the mega budget venture warrants a lot of pre production works. Thousands of crows are needed for the shooting and that itself will take a lot of time. The director admitted that his decision to announce the project this early has indeed irked the former Miss World, he also said that he had clarified to the actress, the need for such an early announcement.
So going by Vasu's clarification, we can gear up to see Aishwarya Rai marking her comeback in South Indian film Industry in a female centric role, sooner or later.
