Singer Amrutha Varshini, who burst into scene with the song 'Meghama' in 'Prayanam' had her private album composed by Ramachary launched in an event in Bharateeya Vidya Bhavan in Hyderabad. The CD pack was unveiled by Naga Susheela, producer and daughter of legendary actor ANR and first CD was handed to director of Kotha Bangaru Lokam and SVSC Srikanth Addala. The singer then rendered numbers from the album and the event was attended by several film and political notables.
Naga Susheela said 'My father loved the singer's voice. I am her fan too,e specially the song 'Aamani' in this album. I brought my father's shawl as a gift to her. She's got a sweet voice and may God bless her to go heights in career'
Srikanth Addala said 'I am busy with my film with Varun Tej and was skeptical if I would make it. I shudder to think what I would have missed if I couldn't make it. I love Amrutha's songs. I wish her a great career ahead'
Amrutha Varshini said 'I wouldnt be on this stage without the support of my Mother Aasha, Father Chandra Sekhar, Sister Akshara and My Guru Ramachary. I owe everything to them and to everyone who blessed me. I hope to sing more meaningful numbers in future'
The event also had Ramachary, composer Dr. Josyabhatla, Singer Ravi Varma, Yogeshwara Sharma etc.
