Though our Superstar has clearly announced his decision to concentrate on cinema and not to enter politics in 2004 prior to the release of his blockbuster hit film Chandramukhi, many of his fans are still expecting him to change his decision and lead the state. As a result, many acts and speeches of Rajnikanth have been linked to politics forcing the star to make a clarification later.
With Parliamentary elections around the corner, the expectations of the star to make his way into politics at least by voicing his support for a particular party have emerged across various sections while the actor remains tight lipped on politics.
As a sudden turn of events former Union minister M.K.Alagiri who was recently expelled from his party met the Superstar in his residence today. Neither the reason for the meeting nor any details on what the two famous celebrities spoke have been made public. However this meeting is sure to shoot up the guessing game on whether the Superstar has made a decision on politics.
However Dhayanidhi Alagiri who accompanied his father to meet the Superstar has clarified that there is no political motive behind the meeting. He has updated a photo taken during the meeting in his twitter page with the message, "dad wished the one and only SUPERSTAR at his residence on the super hit audio launch of #Kochadaiiyaan !
went along and got his blessings..."
