An important announcement from Superstar Rajnikanth

He has announced long back his decision to concentrate in cinema rather than entering politics, but the name Rajni has always come in the forefront during important moments of politics. With the impending Parliament elections approaching fast, fans have started expecting their Thalaivar to announce his political stand. It was also expected by a considerable section of people, that Rajni will lend his voice in support of Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister of Gujarat and the Prime Ministerial candidate of Bharathiya Janata Party.  Both Rajni and Modi share a mutual respect and friendship.

However the Superstar has announced today that he will not be supporting any party or a particular candidate in the election and he has decided to remain neutral during this election.

With this announcement it has been made clear that Rajnikanth's role in the 2014 Loksabha elections will be as that of a normal citizen exercising his/her franchise.
