With Loksabha elections around the corner many Tinsel town celebrities cutting across regions are indulging in vigorous campaign trail. Some of them support the candidates of the party they belong to while others raise their voice in support of candidates without having any allegiance to the party.
Veteran actress Sridevi who was one of the top heroines of South Indian film industry in 1980's and moved on to Bollywood in early 90's is the latest addition to this long list of film stars campaigning for the MP candidates contesting in the upcoming elections. Recently the Moondram Pirai actress campaigned in support of Amar Singh, the MP candidate of Rashtriya Lokdal party in Fathepur Sikri constituency in Uttar Pradesh.
Huge crowds turned on streets to have a glimpse of the actress who was last seen in the Bollywood film English Vinglish directed by Gaurie Shinde. The film released in 2012.
