Actor dies due to wait loss surgery?

Popular Hindi Television actor Rakesh Diwana (48) who acted as 'Kumbhakarna' in the 'Ramayana' serial telecast in 2008-09 has passed away.

Rakesh Diwana who was characterize by his stout physique had undergone a weight lose surgery last week. He was admitted in a private hospital in Indore for the surgery which has allegedly caused his death.

Diwana's family members allege that the negligence on the part of hospital staff has caused death to the actor.

However the Hospital management has refuted this charge. They have said that the surgery was performed on April 23 and Diwana's condition was normal after the surgery. He was also shifted to general ward for taking rest. All of a sudden he suffered hypertension and brain stem dysfunction and he was shifted to ICU where he breathed his last. Hospital staff had tried their best to restore his condition but the efforts went in vain.

Born in Uttar Pradesh Rakesh was a well known actor who has acted in many TV serials and a few Bollywood films including 'Baabar' that released in 2009.
