The seventh phase of Lok Sabha elections is being conducted today. The entire Telengana region which includes 17 constituencies is going in for polling today.
Minister of State for the Ministry of Tourism cum popular star of Telugu film Industry, Chiranjeevi reached the polling booth located at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad along with his family. He entered the polling room without waiting in the queue and was confronted by an NRI voter named Karthik for skipping the long queue of voters who were waiting for their turn to vote for a long time.
Karthik argued that Chiranjeevi cannot avail special privilege just because he is a minister. Chiranjeevi pacified the upright youngster and stood in the queue along with his wife Sushmitha and son Ram Charan Teja and they voted when their turn arrived.
Other people waiting at the polling station appreciated Karthik for his guts to question such a huge celebrity who has millions of fans and followers across the state.
Chiranjeevi while addressing reporters after casting his vote said that he has never tried to break the law and went in directly to the polling room only to check whether his name was included in the voters list.
Nevertheless it is true that Karthik, has become the hero of the nation for his act of bravery.
