Sharreth has in fact worked under Ilaiyaraja and recorded many songs composed by the legend in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. He however got the chance to sing under the aegis of Raja only now when he has crossed the age of 40.

Ilaiyaraja is mightily impressed with the way the song has been rendered by Sharreth and has presented a 'Navaratna' ring to him.

Meanwhile Sharreth has also crooned a song each in 'Ulavacharu Biriyani' and 'Oggarane' the Telugu and Kannada versions of the trilingual directed by Prakash Raj. The Tamil version has been titled as 'Un Samayalarayil' and all the three versions have music score by Ilaiyaraja.
