Dhananjyan's illustrious professional career is spread across various industries like Telecom, Music and Cinema. He joined UTV and has been producing and marketing south Indian films for the past three-four years. The first film UTV acquired after his joining was 'Deivathirumagal' which was critically acclaimed and commercially successful. He makes it a point to express his wishes during the release of the films of other producers, directors and actors who are his friends in social networking sites. He will also be the first person to publicly appreciate a film if he finds it to be good in content irrespective of whether it comes from a person known to him or not.

Dhananjayan is also a writer. He has written a book 'The Best of Tamil Cinema 1931 to 2010.' The book had been released by Kamal Haasan in 2011 and after reading it, Superstar Rajinikanth presented him with a memento for his profound research and writing on Tamil cinema.  He is also writing columns about cinema in various Tamil and English magazines.

Here is wishing the multi-talented personality, a very happy birthday and all success in his future endeavours.
