Celebrating Ilaiyaraja 1000

Debutting with the Tamil film 'Annakkili' that released in 1976, Ilaiyaraja has scored music for hundreds of films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi film industries The maestro with his music has entered the hearts of millions of Tamils as well as music lovers all over the world. Millions of his fans use his music as a treat to celebrate, heal for wounds and the abode for peace of mind.
In his 39th year of film career, Ilaiyaraja is busy composing tunes for his 1000th project 'Tharai Thappattai' the next directorial venture of National award winning filmmaker Bala. In his illustrious career, the veteran composer has worked with many prestigious production houses, award winning filmmakers and superstars in many languages.

Celebrating 'Ilaiyaraja 1000'

Indiaglitz celebrates the phenomenal '1000 films' record of Ilaiyaraja in a unique way. Many tinsel town celebrities that include actors, actresses, producers, music directors and many others will be sharing their experience on working with the music legend.
We begin this proud presentation with the exclusive video interview of veteran actor cum filmmaker Nasser who has been acting in films since 1985. Nasser has acted in hundreds of films that had musical score by Ilaiyaraja. Three out of four films directed by Nasser came with Raja's music.
