A few weeks back, an official press statement from AGS entertainments had revealed that one of their upcoming mega budget projects, 'Anegan' is 90% complete. It was said that only a few scenes and two songs remains to be shot for the Dhanush-Amyra Dasthur starrer.

Now the team has begun shooting a song in farm land in Pondicherry with the lead pair. Dhanush has confirmed, that he is back on the sets of the K.V.Anand directorial. "Back to the sets of anegan - song shoot! What fun :) #nightshoot" the National award winning actor has tweeted.

In the current shooting schedule of 'Anegan' the song shoot will be followed by the shooting of the climax portion in another location in Puducherry.  Almost all the cast members, including Dhanush, Amyra, Mukesh Tiwari and Ashish Vidyarthi, will be joining the shoot during this schedule. The team will be heading to Scotland in July to shoot the last song and the shoot is expected to be wrapped up with that.

In an earlier announcement Anand had announced that the post production work is simultaneously on and all that have been shot have been edited. The dubbing work is also happening and the film can be expected to hit the screens in July.
