Date fixed for 'Vadacurry'

IndiaGlitz [Thursday, June 05, 2014]

The release date of the film that brings back the 'Subramaniyapuram' lead pair of Jai and Swathi has been fixed. 'Vadacurry' which has been produced by Dhyanidhi Alagiri under his Meeka Entertainments banner has been scheduled to release on June 19. Dhayanidhi himself has confirmed the release date in his micro-blogging page : " VADACURRY will release worldwide on the 19th of June !! 19/06/2014..."
One of the attraction factors of the film is that it includes an item number in which Sunny Leone shakes a leg with Jai and RJ Balaji who acts as the hero's friend in the film. But the song seems to be a decent dance number as the Censor Board officials who watched the film have issued a clean 'U' certificate without insisting any cut.

Yuvan Shankar Raja who was initially roped in to compose music for the film, backed out of the project after composing one song which has been retained in the film. The rest of the songs and re-recording have been scored by new comers Vivek Siva and Mervin Solomon. Venkatesh.S has handled the cinematography and Praveen K.L and N.B.Srikanth have done the editing for the flick.

The film has been directed by debutante Saravanan Rajan who is a former assistant of Venkat Prabhu.
