Popular music director, producer and actor G.V.Prakash's 27th birthday that fell yesterday (June 13) was celebrated with much aplomb and gaiety by his newly commenced Fans club of Chennai district.
In connection to his birth day a huge 10 kg cake was cut by him amidst hundreds of his fans. Huge garlands, crown, a silver sword and various gifts symbolizing the event were gifted to him by his admirers. 'Kaakkum karangal' a home for destitute children, and Asha nivas boys shelter home received various benefits from the initiatives taken by the fan club members on account of the young composer's birthday.
G.V.Prakash sent his birth day message in which he said, "My fans are mostly youth. They are spread through Twitter, Face book and for that matter in all social forums. I wanted to assemble all of them in a single umbrella. Hence this fan club is started. One cannot deny the fact that the force of Youth is the fulcrum of our nation's growth. Tamil audience had given me a huge recognition in terms of name and fame. It is the time for me to repay the love. Fan clubs are viewed in a negative manner here, many constructive, development oriented social welfare themes can be organized with the help of the young minds who look upon you as the fan clubs of Kamal sir, Vijay sir and Surya sir are the classic examples for the same. I desire to travel the same path as they do".
