One word which was common from every audience of 'Bangalore Days' was "amazing." The recent Mollywood flick by Anjali Menon has garnered rave reviews, with people from different language backgrounds thronging the cimemas to watch the film. The 3-hour entertainer on the lives of three close-knit cousins has been widely lauded by one and all, and now Prakash Potluri's production house is planning to make the best out of it. All-India remake rights of 'Bangalore Days' has been snapped by the production house and the film is said to be remade in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Work has already begun full swing and the cast for Tamil and Telugu versions are being decided right now. Considering that the Malayalam flick had a cast comprising of young actors - Dulquer Salman, Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Naseem, Parvathy, Nithya Menen and Fahadh Faasil, the actors for the remakes are also being chosen, keeping in mind that they are the gen-Y too.
Further, there are also plans of combining the Tamil and Telugu versions and making it a bilingual, provided actors who are equally prominent in Kollywood and Tollywood can be signed in for the project, failing which, the film will go on to be made individually in K-town and T-town. Arya, Samantha and Bharath are currently under the lens for choice of actors for this project. Further information, including that on the Bollywood version plans, is awaited.
