K.Viswanath on his 'Uttama Villain' experience

As we all know legendary directors K.Balachander and K.Viswanath are acting in Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film ‘Uttama Villain’. In the film Kamal plays the role of 21st century super star Mano Ranjan and Balchander plays the character of his mentor in cine field while Viswanath plays the role of his father-in-law in Ramesh Aravind directorial.

It is worth mentioning that both Balachander and Viswanath have directed many successful and critically acclaimed Tamil and Telugu film and both have directed Kamal in his initial days in many super hit film. Both the legendary directors have appeared in many films. While Viswanath has acted in Kamal’s 'Kuruthipunal', Balachander will be seen sharing screen space with Kamal for the first time in ‘Uttama Villain’.

Speaking about the experiences of working together with Balachander, Viswanath said “During our hey days we wished to learn the nuances of filmmaking from one another. We wanted to spend time in the shooting spot. But that did not happen duty our busy schedules. Now we are working together for the first time in ‘Uttama Villain’ and it makes us very happy. The credit should go to Kamal for he is the one who convinced us to accept the roles. It was also interesting to work with the young talents of the new generation” added the ’Salangai Oli’ director.
