After tasting success with their first outing ‘Yennamo Nadakkudhu’ director Raja Pandi and actor Vijay Vasanth are back with another project titled ‘Sikandi’. The film that will be produced by Tripe V Records who produced ‘Yennamo Nadakkudhu’ will be producing this film that will go on floors from August.

The new film’s title draws its inspiration from the name of a character in great Indian epic Mahabharatha. In the Mahbharatha, Arjuna uses Sikandi to kill his mighty opponent Bhishma. The director reveals that his film is not based on Mahabharatha but the two lead characters will posses traits similar to Arjuna and Sikandi.

The director further reveals that he is giving finishing touches to the script and yet to finalize the cast and crew. He has also said that talks are on with a few big names in the industry to be a part of the film.

The director in an earlier interview had revealed that the film will have two male leads and one of them will be played by Vijay Vasanth. We will have to wait to know whether who will be Arjuna and Sikandi.
