As his upcoming film ‘Anjaan’ is getting ready to release as a ‘Independence day’ special on August 15, actor Suriya has begun working on his next film title ‘Mass’. As we reported earlier, the actor took part in a test shoot to finalize his looks for the film touted as a ‘kids friendly’ horror flick to be directed by Venkat Prabhu.

The shooting has begun in Chennai yesterday and some scenes will be shot in a house in ECR in the first schedule. The film’s heroine Nayanthara is expected to join the team in August.  Sources say that most part of the film will be shot in North India and Bulgaria. It is said that portions of the film will be shot in Chennai, Ooty, Kerala, Kulu Manali and other north Indian locales. Some important scenes of the film will be shot in Bulgaria as well.  Schedule plans are being worked out.

‘Mass’ has musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja and R.D.Rajasekar is handling the camera. Lyricist Madhan Karky has written the dialogues for the film. The film is being produced by Studio Green banner.
