A former associate of Gautham Menon is directing a film named Pencil, starring GV Prakash and Sri Divya of 'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam', and Sri Divya recently tweeted that the third schedule of the film has started. This is GV Prakash's first film as an actor and a hero at that and in his recent interviews he said that he has been working out and forming a new look to show on screen and look better in front of a camera.
Pencil is Mani's debut film as a director and is produced by SP Ragavesh. GV Prakash is the hero of Pencil and obviously is the composer for the film too. Pencil is said to be a school based thriller film that revolves around incidents that happen in school life and the twists in the plot that takes the viewer down a thrill ride. Samantha and Priya Anand were approached for the lead female role, but the team zeroed in on Sri Divya soon after and the shoot has been progressing well. We wish the team luck!.
