The death of Bapu has saddened everyone in the industry.
Dr.D.Ramanaidu, Vani Sri, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Mohan Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Boyapati Srinu, Chandramohan, Nani, Manoj, Manchu Lakshmi etc conveyed their condolences to the family of this legendary director.
They said that Bapu's death is a great loss to the industry and no one can ever replace him.
Chiranjeevi said that he can't believe the loss of Bapu, the name synonymous to Telugu nativity and Cinema. He said that he has a great relation with the director and he had developed so much as an actor, after working with him for 'Mana Voori Pandavulu' and 'Mantri Gari Viyyankudu'. He conveyed his condolences to the family of the director.
Balakrishna said that he remembers every moment he spent with Bapu during the shoot of 'Sri Rama Rajyam' and the director's death has saddened him. Balayya said that though the director is not with us, his pictures and movies will be with us and he is praying for the peace of Bapu's soul.
Mohan Babu said that he is deeply saddened with the death a great artist and director like Bapu. He added that even when we have no computer graphics, he has picturized some very complex scenes very skillfully. "I am going to Bapu's house in Chennai, along with my family", Mohan Babu said.
Boyapati Srinu said that Bapu has brought a respect and new meaning to the word director and he used to be very proud of being a director, seeing legends like Bapu. He added that he can't forget the moments he attended the GAMA awards event, where Bapu was presented the Life Time Achievement award and spending time with him. He expressed his sadness at Bapu's death.
Sr. Naresh said that his mother (Vijaya Nirmala) considers Bapu as her mentor in direction and he can't forget Bapu's 'Pellikoduku' with him, which is the remake of his mother's 'Bangaaru Pichuka'.
