Arjun 'Jai Hind 2' inspired by a real life incident

After ‘Kadal’ and ‘Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal’ the films that bombed at the box office but getched critical acclaim for his performance, actor Arjun is back with ‘Jai Hind 2’ the sequel to his 1994 anti terrorism film ‘Jai Hind’. This time he is directing the flick apart from producing it. This is Arjun’s 11th directorial venture. Actresses Surven Chopra and Simran play the lead heroines while Rahul Dev is the lead villain. Brahmanandam, Mayilsami, Manobala and Ravi Kalai form part of the supporting cast.

Speaking about the film Arjun says that this film will be about the state of Education in India. Referring to a real life incident he came across the actor said when former President of India, Dr.APJ.Abdul Kalam visited a school and asked a child what she wanted to become in future the girl said she wished to live in a developed India. This made the actor-director feel that that there are many lacunae to be filled especially in Education which is a key to development. Arjun says his film will focus on how a common man would like to have an ideal system of Education.

In the film Arjun plays a compuet center owner, Surween is a college going girl while Simran is a student. The film is being shot as a trilingual in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The film will have strong action content with action sequences being predominantly shot in a giant scrapyard in Singapore. The stunts have been choreographed by Thai stunt master Kazu and Kollywood’s Power Fast Basu. The climax fight scene would happen in a giant cage in which Arjun will beat up the villains.

A song has been shot in the famous By the Bay Gardens in Singapore. Its on eof the top 10 indoor gardens in the world with every plant and tress from very continent in the world. .

After completing Jai Hind 2, Arjun will direct a film with his daughter Aishwarya playing the lead heroine role. Aishwarya debuted playing the love interest of Vishal in ‘Pattathu Yanai’ that released last year. The film did not do well in the box office.
