Murali, once a delight for producers and directors in the industry, has virtually become an untouchable today. 

With no offers coming his way, Murali was hoping for a reversal of fortune with his Arivumani that was slated for release his Pongal.

Unfortunately the movie could not make it to theatres on Pongal day. Though completed, the movie had no takers and hence the producer backed out at the last moment from releasing the movie.
