Remember actor Vaseegaran?

He made his debut last year through Kangalal Kaidhu Sei directed by Bharathiraja.

After almost a year, he is back in Kollywood with his next titled Flowers (yet another English title for a Tamil movie).

Why was Vaseegaran off the radar for so long?

The answer from the handsome hero is not difficult to guess.

Like any other hero, Vaseegaran says, he was waiting for a right script to make the right impact. It has ultimately cost him a year.

Flowers is a youthful movie and has all the ingredients that I was waiting for, he adds

But the biggest drawback of Kangalal Kaidhu Sei was the Vaseegaran's deadpan expressions and stony acting style. "He was looking like a kid lost in a fair," wrote one critic about his performance.

Vaseegaran, one hopes, has improved on that score. Otherwise, whatever the script may provide will not just work if the acting is deader than a dodo.

Sathyan, Santhosh, Manivannan, Nizhalgal Ravi, Rajan P Dev, Pandu, Vaiyapuri, Scissors Manohar are cast in the film.

Malayalam duo Kochuman - Roshan is scoring the music, while Vijay, a newcomer has written the story, screenplay besides directing the film.
