After a big gap, Rajnikanth is coming out with Chandramukhi this April.
Expectations are high not just among the industry men but also the film-buffs. Since a majority of theatres in the State are now keen to release Chandramukhi, hoping for a huge collection, several movies lined up for a release simultaneously with Chandramukhi seems to be opting out of the contest one after another.
Ajith's God Father was postponed for a release on 1 May. Director Shankar too has deferred the release of his Anniyan. Now joining the list of back-outs is Vijay's Sachin. According to sources, the movie starring Vijay, Bipasha Basu and Genelia D'Souza will be released on 29 April instead on the Tamil New Year's Day.'
Lack of theatres to release the movie is said to be a reason for this. Perhaps, Sachin and God Father may lock horns this May.
