Actress Nagma, who is into controversy for her alleged links with Mumbai underworld, has rejected an offer to act in a prominent role in a movie titled Arakkan starring Murali in the lead role.

She was urged by director Vadivudayan, a one-time associate of Malayalam director Shaji Kailash to play the role of a Hindu God-Woman in the movie. She has reportedly turned down the offer in which a Tollywood actress Hamsa Devi is currently acting.

It's an out and out action film which is being shot in Kashi and Jain temples in and around Jaipur, says the director. A Mumbai girl Sangeetha is playing the heroine.

Also in the cast are Raghuvaran, Rajan P Dev and Mansooor Ali Khan.
