Remember R D Baskar, the producer of blockbuster films like Singaravelan, En Bommukutti Ammavukku and Rajathi Raja?

R D Basker, elder brother of noted music composer Illayaraja had produced a lot of Tamil movies in late 1980s and early 1990s. After almost a decade, Baskar's son is now entering Kollywood.

R D Baskar's son Hari Baskar will be playing the hero in a movie titled Vyugam that would be directed by newcomer Krishnamurthy, who had worked under director Selvamani before.

A new face Sandhana will be acting opposite him. Interestingly, the music for the movie would be by Yuvan Shankar Raja (son of Illayaraja).

Vadivelu plays an important role in the movie. It's a romantic action entertainer, says Krishnamurthy.
