Kadhal fame Sandhya  has offers coming her way from all sides. Following her good performance she patiently waited and accepted to play the lead role in a Malayalam movie Alputha Vilakku, directed by Sibi Malayil.

In the movie, she plays Jayaram's sister and the ladylove of Vineeth. The movie released on Vishu Day all over Kerala has won good appreciation and especially Sandhya's performance has gone down well with the public.

 "To sustain the good name earned is very difficult. People appreciated me after Kadhal and it continues with Alputha Vilakku. I am happy that I am able to deliver a good performance. I am in a no hurry to take up movies. I will patiently wait for offers and pick the right ones that help me in my career", Sandhya says.
