Prashanth's career, these days, resemble a car careening out of control. So it is an irony that his next film is titled Taxi Driver. And he has strong company in Reema Sen and Namitha in the movie.

To be produced by C TV Entertainment, who had produced many Prashanth starrers before including Ayudham, Majnu and Jeans, the movie stars Prashanth as a taxi driver --- a role he played in Appu, too..

A debutant director Morgon, who had worked as associate with director Gowtham, will be directing the movie. Asked what the movie is all about, Morgon, says the obvious. "It's an action packed romantic movie".

Prashanth, a taxi driver, goes in search of a girl to Dubai, who had travelled in his car when she had been to Chennai. There, Prashanth encounters dangers and how he escapes from all troubles forms the crux of the movie.

The movie would be shot in Dubai, Holland and London. A R Rahman's sister's son G V Prakash will be introduced as the music director in the movie.

Taxi Driver would be completed in one go and would be released this August, says Morgon.
