Noted Malayalam producer Appachan produced Friends starring Vijay and Surya a few years ago.

 After a brief exile in Tamil, he is making a comeback here and would be producing a movie starring Vijay in the lead role. Meanwhile, Appachan has approached Dhanush to act in a movie. 

 Supposedly an action-packed movie, Appachan's home production will see Dhanush in the lead role and efforts are on to rope in Kadhal fame Sandhya to play opposite him.

He will be producing two films simultaneously by this year-end.
