Actor Vijayakanth, who is all set to launch a political party soon, has again set the tongues wagging.

The actor (as reported in these columns) called on DMK president and former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi at Anna Arivalayam in Chennai Wednesday.

The meeting assumed significance since Vijayakanth had last alleged that a few in the ruling party had been threatening him not to take a jump in active politics.

But now the news is that Vijayakanth is also slated to meet Chief Minister J Jayalalitha and has sought appointment with her.

With such high-profile meetings, Vijayakanth is keeping everyone guessing.
