When a top actor meets a top politician, the air is bound to be with speculation.

It was decidedly so when Kamal Haasan met DMK chief M Karunanidhi.

But wait, Kamal too is not getting into politics.

Far from politics, it was with poetry in mind that Kamal met the ageing politico.

Rumors were also abuzz that the actor has decided to revive his dream project Marudhanayakam and hence he had a meeting with Karunanidhi to discuss about the storyline and script.

However emerging out from the meeting Kamal Haasan said that he has a penchant for Tamil poetry and had penned several Tamil poems.

Since Kamal wanted to come out with a book of his own poems, he had called on the latter and read out few lines to him and also urged him to take part in a function to be held later to release the collection of poems.
