There was a huge cloak of surprise hanging over the film June R. The surprise factor was who was going to play the closely-guarded hero's role.

The entire camp had kept the news well wrapped. Any manner of names was bandied about for the role.

Now the news is out.

Noted Malayalam actor Biju Menon is all set to play the much hyped hero's role in June R, a movie directed by ad film maker turned director Revathy S Verma.

Featuring Jyothika,Saritha and Kushboo, the movie dwells on a special mother-daughter bond shared between Jyothika and Saritha.

According to Revathy Verma, the highlight of the movie would be a cameo played by  Biju Menon, noted Malayalam actor.

Asked about the film, Revathy says, 'June... is the name of the character played by Jyothika and R has a special meaning which would be revealed on the screen'.

More room for surprises, perhaps.
