Remember Shayaji Shinde? The dreaded villain from North who not just played negative roles with ease but also surprised film-buffs playing the lead role in Gnana Rajasekaran Bharathy with ease.

Caught playing the negative role in Vijayakannth's Sudesi, Shayaji Shinde says, 'I am happy to act simultaneously in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Marathi films. A good actor is given good reception wherever he ventures to'.

On the current scenario in Kollywood, Shayaji says, 'the industry looks healthy and lots of youngsters are making their mark here.  Films like Bharathy are being attempted only here. Future looks bright for Tamil filmdom'.

Besides acting in Sudesi, Shayaji Shinde has begun all works to direct a movie. He will be directing a movie in Marathi early next year.
