Madhavan is in need of a hit to sustain himself in Kollywood. Will Maddy pull it off this time ?

Not having enjoyed much success, of late, Madhavan has a gilt-edged opportunity to prove his talents in Thambi.

Director Seeman has few comforting words for Maddy. He says, 'Thambi would bring to light the other side of Madhavan. Known for his romantic roles till now, he has played the role of an angry young man with ease.'

Asked on choosing Madhavan for the title role, an outspoken Seeman says, 'I had met several actors and narrated the story. No one bothered to work in the film. Thankfully, Madhavan understood my urge and accepted to work in the film'.

Pooja shares the frames with Madhavan after Jay Jay. Let's hope Thambi have successful run.
