Close on the heels of the second cricket test between India and Pakistan ended in a tame draw bringing disappointment to millions of cricket-lovers, the last minute cancellation of the cricket match between Tamil stars and Telugu stars in Dubai scheduled for 27 January, has brought disappointment to the actors.

A few actors already packed their bags and were off to Dubai while many were ready to leave on Thursday, but the match has been called off now.

According to the organizers, the Dubai government insisting on a 60 per cent tax on the total gate collection has resulted in them calling off the match at Sharjah.

However last minute efforts are on to have the match played at M A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai under lights this Saturday, since all the stars have expressed their willingness to play.
