He is just nine-years, but is already busy wielding the megaphone. The boy-wonder is Kishan, son of the assistant commissioner of Sales Tax in Karnataka.
He is busy churning out a bi-lingual (made simultaneously in Tamil and Kannada) titled Care of Footpath.
Besides directing Kishan plays the lead role and starring in a prominent role would be Jackie Shroff.
According to Kishan, ‘since I was three, I took to modeling and participated in ramp shows. Having acted in several films and mega-serials, I happened to see young children of my age in footpath begging. This left a spark in me to pen a script and thanks to the encouragement of my parents, I am director today giving life to the script'.
Care of Footpath is all about street children, who do menial jobs for their survival.
When people of his age play, my son is busy directing. It is a proud moment, say his parents.
After Jackie heard the script, he personally requested me to assign him a role in the movie, Kishan says and adds, with few a minor corrections, I am planning to release the movie in Tamil too'
His cherished desire is to direct Suriya uncle. ‘I have seen his movies and his acting really impressed me,’ he speaks quite in a mature tone, considering his tender age.
Kishan’s achievement has been sent to Guinness Book of Records and by this year-end, we can find his name in the book for the youngest director, say his parents.
