I am confident that my Mercury Pookal would attract the attention of the masses, says director Stanley.

The movie featuring Srikanth, Meera Jasmine and Sangeetha is completed and would make it to the theatres on 23 February.

'We shot the movie at a quick pace and thanks to the co-operation of the artistes, I have been able to complete the movie so fast’, the director says and adds, 'it would be a film quite different from my earlier ventures'.

For Stanley and Srikanth, their immediate need is to ensure a hit.

I am hopeful that my thirst for success would be quenched with Mercury Pookal, says Stanley.

A well-conceived script with powerful characterizations make up the movie, he says.

Srikanth and I share a good rapport and it was evident in April Madhathil. Sure to repeat the same success here, he adds.
