Adding one more to the glittering array of stars joining AIADMK is Murali. Following the likes of Senthil, Anandharaj and Vijayakumar, actor Murali along with his wife joined AIADMK in the presence of Jayalalithaa at her residence in Poes Gardens on Friday.

Murali, who had acted as hero in over 100 films had last acted in Pasaakiligal, which had story, screenplay and dialogues by DMK chief M Karunanidhi.

And that is the irony of it all as he has now moved to the party of Karunanidhi’s archrival Jayalalithaa.

The great deeds and courage of Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had impressed me. I decided to join the AIADMK and do my best for it, he said.

Meanwhile, Kollywood grapevine has a more interesting news.

The buzz is that there is a strong pressure being built on a top hero to switchover from the party that he is currently affiliated to.
