Madhavan starrer Thambi is finally set for release this month. The movie directed by director Seeman has been censored and was handed over a 'U' certificate.

But why a 'U' certificate for an action-packed film?

Clarifies Madhavan. 'It is a movie which carries a strong message against violence. Hence we cannot preach people to stop taking arms without showing action-packed stunt sequences. We have been able to convey the message loud and clear in the movie and hence we have obtained a 'U' certificate.
