Close on the heels of joining Ameer as assistant director, Unnai Charan Adainthen fame Samuthirakanni will be directing a movie for Ameer's home production later this year.

Guess who will play the hero in the movie? None other than Ameer himself.

Samuthirakani, says, 'It is an offbeat story and I felt Ameer can do justice to the role. When I briefed the story to him, he was highly impressed and  he decided to produce and act as hero in the same'.

Having learnt the nuances of this trade, I am keen to render a quality entertainer and establish a name for myself in the industry, adds Samuthirakani.
