Mid Valley Entertainment, the production house which produced Madhavan starrer Thambi has lofty plans.

Headed by Datuk Eswaran, the company has chalked out various plans that include producing half-a-dozen Tamil movies every year besides distributing films and also acquiring satellite and overseas rights of the movies.

Says Datuk Eswaran: 'We have also acquired a few theatres in Kanchipuram, Vellore and Madurai and efforts are on to digitalise them and release movies through satellites in these theatres'.

Buoyed by the good response for their home production Thambi, Mid Valley is planning to do the remake of Thambi in Hindi with Madhavan playing the title role again.
